What is KidsCircle?
KidsCircle is a web app for child-serving nonprofits, built around three products: Connect (sponsor letters, photo sharing, and birthday circles between the children and staff you serve and their sponsors), Story (child, family, and staff records), and Journey (mission-trip planning — applications, policies, passports, budgets, and trip diaries). Use one on its own, or combine all three.
Who is KidsCircle for?
Child-serving nonprofits, ministries, and mission organizations — running child or staff sponsorship, keeping child, family, and staff records, planning mission trips, or any combination of the three.
What's a Circle?
A Circle is one round of communication between children, staff, and sponsors. There are four types: Child or Staff to Sponsor, Sponsor to Child or Staff, Birthday Circle, and Custom Circle.
Can sponsors write back?
Yes. Each sponsor gets a private link — no login or app — to write or upload a letter, add a photo, and revisit the children they support along with past letters and photos.
How do photos and letters get collected?
Your team can snap photos and scan letters from any phone, or bulk-upload a stack at once — QR codes automatically match each item to the right child, staff member, and sponsor.
Can I send by mail as well as email?
Yes. Every photo and letter can go out as a personalized email or a print-ready PDF — and KidsCircle can print and mail them for you if you'd like.
How much does Connect cost?
Connect — sponsor letters, photo sharing, and birthday circles — has three plans: Seed at $45/month (up to 100 children, 2 team members, and 4 circles a year); Growth at $85/month (up to 400 children, 75 staff, and unlimited team members and circles); Flourish at $135/month (up to 700 children, 125 staff, and unlimited team members and circles). Paying annually saves about 10%.
What is Story, and what does it cost?
Story is where you keep child, family, and staff records — profiles, welfare visits, discipleship notes, and more. It has three tiers: Starter at $49/month (up to 150 children and 15 staff on file); Full at $89/month (up to 500 children and 60 staff on file); Field at $139/month (unlimited children and staff on file). Add it on its own, or save $15/month on any tier while you also have a Connect subscription.
What is Journey, and what does it cost?
Journey is mission-trip management — applications, policies, passports, budgets, and trip diaries. It has three tiers: Starter at $39/month (up to 4 trips a year and 15 travellers per trip); Team at $59/month (up to 15 trips a year and 40 travellers per trip); Multi at $99/month (unlimited trips a year and unlimited travellers per trip). Add it on its own, or save $15/month on any tier while you also have a Connect subscription.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every plan — Connect, Story, or Journey — starts with a 7-day free trial with full access to the plan you choose. Cancel anytime before your trial ends.
Does KidsCircle work internationally?
Yes. KidsCircle grew out of years of firsthand sponsorship work in Uganda and runs in any modern web browser, so your US and in-country teams share one system.
How do you protect children's data?
Children aren't users of the platform — your organization owns and manages its own child and staff records, with role-based access so only your authorized team can see your data.
